Everything was perfect. Room was spotless and well maintained. No problem asking for 2 extra pillows. I had a “wardrobe malfunction “ was given a guest sewing kit! The shuttle drivers were very nice and shuttles were very clean and smelled good. The cafe was wonderful. Food was great and staff was very accommodating. Overall excellent stay.

Great space. I stayed in a junior suite for 2 nights. The room was clean and tidy. The whirlpool tub was amazing! The beds and pillows were okay, bed is on the harder side and the pillows are super soft. Just a basic tv with cable, if it had the ability to stream I couldn't figure it out. The patio was very lack luster but it was a small private outdoor space.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ayres. The hotel is so quaint and warm. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and helpful. Rooms weren’t overly fancy, but they were comfortable and very clean which is honestly all I needed. For the nightly price, I felt like I got a super good deal here. I do think it’s a very crappy business practice for hotels to charge for parking. Ultimately I decided to pick up my rental car the following morning because I didn’t feel like paying $24 a night for parking. But aside from that, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A gem. Hotel has been refreshed and reflects an Old English Inn. Rooms were super clean with all amenities in place and working. Be mindful of the water saving shower, might want to be sparing on the lovely hair conditioner. Just behind John Wayne Airport for easy access, including a shuttle; the jet noise was not disruptive, and by law ends between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Will be my new "go to" when I drop in town.

We loved this hotel, would definitely stay there again! Hotel was extremely clean, staff could not have been nicer, and room was better than expected. Really liked how the bedroom, bathroom and lounge areas were separated for privacy if needed. We were in town for a beach wedding on Huntington Beach, this was a perfect stay for us. Had an early flight out and could not have been happier with the shuttle personnel too, she was happy and ready to go! Thanks for the excellent accommodations!
