Best Western Plus Meridian Inn & Suites, Anaheim-Orange

You can tell the location has been here for a while but the owners have been trying hard to keep things up to date and clean. Our room was spacious and the beds were so comfy. The sheets for the pullout bed were fresh and soft. Free breakfast in the morning and free parking was a great plus. We had a room facing the pool area on the first floor and our toddlers loved the space to run around. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. They have a great location it’s about 10 minutes from Disney theme parks, but they have the worst service. We checked our room and it appears to be fine. Two days go by and we ask for room service. We notice they took our towels and were left with no towels. We ask the front desk if we could have towels, he stated that we couldn’t ask for more even though we didn’t have any. When we explained our situation he said we were lying and that we should have towels. Regardless he ended up saying they don’t have any available towels to give so we were left with no towels. Note, there were multiple people from multiple rooms complaining about the same issue. No accountability was taken I was able to use the wash cloths to dry myself, but there was no soap conditioner or body wash available. Luckily I had my own. When I informed them they said they would bring some up but never did. I understand it’s the holiday season but do not call me a liar and leaving us without towels is unacceptable. Absolutely horrible experience. The front desk clerk that gave us this experience is named Roman. unacceptable.

There was a power outage scheduled at the time of check in from 10pm to 4am that they didn't warn us about until time of check in, signs everywhere posted about the power outage. 10pm comes and power goes out, checked at 4:30am and no power. Asked for an update and they said 7am. 7:15am still no power and front desk doesn't have an ETA on when power will be back. No manager on site, front desk employees getting ear full of complaints from customers and no manager on site. 10am power comes back on. No clean sheets or towels available due to the power outage, however why not be prepared if they knew about this, not enough flashlights to go around just total chaos! I will have to say the rooms were very big and a lot of room.

I needed a place to stay for a funeral nearby. This place was perfect. It's in a uniquely quiet area in the heart of Orange County. The rooms are OK. I like that the sink is separate from the toilet and shower. However the microwave on the sink counter was odd. I'd stay here again if I needed too.

Good sized rooms, which were nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are soft and comfy. The aircon in the rooms are on the noisy side. Water pressure is low on the shower. They have laundry facilities available, which you pay by card only. Very safe and secure area. They have a pool and heated spa. The place is very close to the outlet stores, and provided you have a car close to food and the freeway. No actual food options in walking distance.
