Residence Inn Anaheim Resort Area/Garden Grove

We travel a lot as a family and have Disneyland passes so we have stayed at quite a few family-friendly hotels. This one was by far the best pick. We have four children, three who need beds and one in a pack n' play. Our room consisted of two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a king bed and one with two twins. The living room also had a pull-out couch. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they offer a complimentary breakfast which was very tasty and seating was readily available. Very close proximity to the Disney parks. This will become our go-to family hotel near Disney

This is an excellent hotel with kitchen at reasonable price close to Disney. We took a 2 bedroom suite. The kitchen was good and useful and one room was big. Second room (twin) was small and a bit of disappointment. However the sofa bed was big and good. They had decent breakfast though we didn't avail it everyday as we had this excellent kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave and our own arrangements. Staff were pretty good and helpful. They maintained the reception well with complementary drinks etc. as bonus! It is hardly 1-2 miles to Disney and you can take Bus 3 from/to Disney right from the entrance but not walkable. Parking is 28$. There is a Target nearby which is very helpful for milk, egg etc. and Shawarma house a mile from the hotel. Rooms were clean and nice. Overall we enjoyed the stay and will recommend it for Disney/families.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible 11-night stay at the Residence Inn Garden Grove while visiting Disneyland! The service here truly sets this hotel apart—Lani Keliiholokai and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort every day. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and equipped with a full kitchen, making it easy to feel at home. The free breakfast was a step above the usual, with a nice variety to start the day right. The pool was always clean and inviting, a great place to unwind after long days at the park. The location is fantastic: within walking distance to Disneyland, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. If you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay near Disneyland, Residence Inn Garden Grove is a top choice. Highly recommended!

Room service barely ever left enough towels and misc basic hotel stay needs so we constantly had to ask for more towels/washcloths/etc and were rationing them constantly because of it. The one bedroom’s bathroom had no hot water and the other’s tub was sunken in to where water sat and couldn’t drain, and the exhaust fans barely worked. Hotel staff didn’t enforce rules around the pool, which made the vacation less relaxing than hoped for. They let kids splash and play in the hot tub that should have been adults only, resulting in my friend getting swimmer’s ear. Never had any towels available at the pool. They only filled the coffee in the mornings so if you wanted any at night, you had to go elsewhere. The staff also let the kids go crazy in the dining area in the mornings, so the food area was always messy. The only good things about the stay was the air conditioning, the beds were actually very nice, breakfast was decent, and the closeness to Disney was fair. Definitely not worth the money that was paid per night for both the room and parking. Save your money and go to a different resort.

Spent 4 days, nice hotel seems our room was 1/2 way renovated. The bathroom certainly needs renovation. The tiles reminded me of the bathrooms in high-school. The only real complaint was no hot water, mostly cold. Not just us, but many people were complaining. Nice stay, convenient to disney and plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet was good and kept full.
