Best Western Surf City

Stayed here for a business trip and it was great. Location was so-so, but the staff and rooms were clean and attentive. A cooked to order breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms were cleaned daily and exceeded my expectations. Will stay here again for the next business trip in the area.

This hotel was an unexpected gem! While the facade and surrounding area aren't the fanciest, the staff clearly take great pride in their hotel, as is evidenced by the adorable little fairy gardens and decorations hidden in the flower beds on the grounds (my kids were enthralled). The rooms are CLEAN! I am picky when it comes to cleanliness, and there was not a single crumb or dusty spot to be found. When we requested extra pillows they were brought to the room immediately and with clean, warm linens. The pool and jacuzzi are small, but again, very clean and perfect for my 2 little boys. The breakfasts were great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hidden treasure if you are looking for a family friendly, no-frills, but clean and well cared for hotel!

Upon checking in, restroom has a soaking wet dirty towel on the floor. The next day, house keeping took all our dirty towels, even the ones hanging behind the restroom door, but didn't leave an extra clean towels. There was only 1. They also didn't clean the floors, leaving them with sand all in the restroom. AC unit is loud, kept waking my husband and I up throughout the night. Location is great but I don't think I'd stay here again. It's pretty pricy for what it is. Had a friend stay 4 minutes down the street in and for a cheaper price got a suite with a soaker tub.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfy. The air conditioner worked well, but it was a bit noisy. The pool was awesome, especially on those hot days. But they didn't have any towels by the pool, so we had to use our own. Overall, it was a great place to relax and chill.

Nice clean rooms, big fridge with small freezer. Good breakfast buffet. Really nice people and beautifully maintained property. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
