Pacific Edge Hotel

We came for the Crab Cake Benedict, which was absolutely delicious, but ended up staying longer to fully enjoy the incredible atmosphere and stunning views. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—every person we encountered, from the valet to the bartender, front desk staff, beach attendant, and even the housekeeper, greeted us with warm and genuine smiles. It's rare to feel so welcomed throughout an entire property! And the views? Simply breathtaking. Our room had the best vistas of Southern California—nothing compares. Whether it was the sunrise or sunset, we were treated to a panoramic spectacle that made our stay even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect combination of great food, excellent service, and unbeatable scenery!

Stayed here for a weekend getaway and found it charming. The rooms were mid sized and clean, no stains, scratches or damage. Restrooms are a bit small but it was very clean. Shower floor did not have any residual or smell so that was great. Hotel service was excellent and in a timely manner. Everyone was very polite and friendly, view from our room was great and enjoy the weather. Shops and restaurants were nearby so it was a nice treat to explore the city and beautiful beach. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

The Pacific Edge in Laguna Beach keeps my family and I coming back year after year. We usually stay in the smaller rooms which could use a chair, but who cares? This complex is on the beach. We are on the beach all day. It is arguably one of the best beaches in Southern California. One you park your car, you don't need it. You can walk into town, and you can sure jump into the ocean just steps away from your room. The staff all seem happy to be working here. They set up chairs and or lounges on the beach, and umbrellas. We call it camp. You can sit out there and watch the sunset (see accompanying photo) which is always spectacular. Every staff member I passed offered a huge smile and a greeting each day. This is a fantastic place.

We have stayed here many times always a great experience. One time my wife forgot her diamond earrings in the room and we checked out. We thought they were gone, but surprisingly they were turned into the front desk and we were able to retrieve them. Thank you so much for being honest.

First night had to move rooms because of a broken air unit at 3:30am, tossed and turned the whole night. When I reported unit was making a very loud unit, their response was initially, "well can't you just turn it off". I said “no! my child is hot. “ Moved rooms, did not sleep at all that night ruined whole next day. The next night, while in the shower, shower head burst right off. I had to get dressed and again go down to office. Was asked once more to move rooms. I said no, not again. They had someone fix it. I asked to speak to manager, never heard from anyone. Too expensive to be dealing with these issues and moving rooms. Pictures are deceiving. Will never go again and don’t recommend anyone to waste money. Management finally reached out after posting poor reviews on yelp, saying they will "consider" my experience. Not good enough! That was my birthday weekend planned for along time. I saved money for a relaxing weekend with my child. Will not get that time back. Thanks for your "consideration", but no thanks. Give guests the quality stay that they are paying for, period.
