REVIEWS
Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean rooms! I did have an issue with my bathroom sink and tub not draining well. By the time I noticed it, the front desk said maintenance wouldn't be available until the morning. They offered to change rooms, but I was already settled in so I just lived with it. Lots of food options within a very short walk. It's a great part of town, I'd say. Pretty close to the beach, but I didn't check that out. Breakfast is good!

The location was great. That’s the only good thing. Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights and 5 days and breakfast was the same from day 1 to day 5. The shower gets very hot and very cold while in the middle of taking shower. Staffs are okay except the lady who was taking care of the breakfast. She was excellent very friendly to all and kept refilling the food. The hotel is old. There was a leaked that they need to fix it and shut off the water for 45 minutes with no prior notice.

I’ve only left maybe 1 other bad review in my life… but we had a pretty bad experience here. I brought my family and we booked 2 rooms. 1 room had a strong cigarette odor so I put my parents in the other room. But in their room my mom noticed a few spiders crawling on her in the bathroom! She yelled for my dad and he found a spider nest with hundreds of spiders in the shower! My mom was bit by one of the spiders. :( We got in late and there was nothing we could do to try and find better rooms. I hadn’t planned on leaving a bad review but I’m further upset that after leaving a couple messages with the front desk as well as multiple emails to the general manager about our bad experience that we haven’t been responded to or reached out to. So not great customer service as well. Besides the cigarettes and spiders the rooms were pretty run down feeling, seemed more like a 1-2 star hotel to me. Definitely not worth the $160 a night each room that we paid.

The door to the room had an issue latching at first but still locked. Stayed on the third floor and had a few ants in the bathroom. The AC worked, fridge worked, safe for items in the room, flat screen TV. The shower head was very weak and sprayed everywhere and the tub drained slowly. It was a good price for a single night but could've definitely been a more impressive experience. Room for improvement for sure but it's a good place to spend the night for a decent price.

My husband is across the street in ICU and I was told by the hospital the if I called the Ramada they had a discounts. So… I called and spoke to Gary who gave attitude right off the bat. I was told that they didn’t have any rooms… except for six (one double and five suites) but I had better hurry up and get one. I asked about the discounted rate for the hospital across the street and was told they don’t do that. I asked again because the hospital told me they had an deal with the hotel and he then told me that they DID have a discount and quoted me a significantly discounted amount, BUT I had better hurry up and pay for the room. I said forget it and then called corporate customer “service” where I spoke with Kai. He said he would make note of my complaint and send me to reservations where I spoke with Jessie. She told me that there was no such thing as a discounted hotel rate for the hospital and got aggressive on the phone between long 20+ second pauses where she would not answer my questions. She then said that there WAS a discounted rate and quoted me DOUBLE what Gary quoted me. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was sent to the initial auto-attendant. I have been a loyal Wyndham customer but Best Western has my business from now on, for EVERY time I travel, I will NEVER use Wyndham ever again.
