Travelodge by Wyndham Costa Mesa Newport Beach Hacienda

I had an absolutely wonderful time at this Hotel! The warm pool was a major highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring beautiful Costa Mesa. The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is top-notch. The only minor downside was that it was a bit noisy at night. However, the overall experience was so positive that it didn't detract from my enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay in Costa Mesa!

Clean, affordable front desk is very nice and helpful..rooms were nice . Only.problem I had was the traffic its right off the hwy but the front desk was nice enough to give me a room away from hwy. It was cold so I didn't use the pool but it was clean . And they clean the ground often. Take harbor / bay to get there and avoid 55 traffic.

I should keep it a secret, but this place was immaculate. You don’t use your neighbors even when you buy a house, they controlled the property very well and it was a very pleasant day. I’m very clean person and I was just astounded at how well the grounds and the rooms were kept up so well, every day.

I stayed here unexpectedly for a few days between apartments and while it's definitely not the Ritz-Carlton, it's a great value with kind and helpful staff. I highly recommend this location to anyone that likes a great deal with immediate access to just about anything you could ever need, not to mention the local color of Costa Mesa. The TV is also huge!

My mate and I stayed 4 nights total while visiting from out of town. The location is convenient to a major highway, gas stations, restaurants, liquor stores, and yet the property seemed to be quiet overall thankfully. Reception has an outdated POS software system and may decline certain banks debit cards. Bring a backup credit and / or debit card(s) just in case... Surveillance cameras on the property. Don't leave valuables in your vehicle. Small Laundry area and Ice Machine are available 24 hours. $3.50 to wash and $3.50 to dry. Vending soda only machine available as well. $2.00-$2.50 can of soda. Cash / coins only. Staff was ok , but unknowledgeable or inconsistent with small requests or inquiries; ( for example, why I was accidentally being double charged per the property's POS software system, no one knew. I was refunded approximately 5 business days later. The Wyndham online Mobile App didn't seem to help while trying to request a late check out, nor did it help to extend our stay. I was referred to use the online App upon requesting the extension of our stay per a staff member and I was just transferred to call the property's landline instead of being able to book online. Technology connection overall was terribly insufficient. Because of this technology hiccup, the last night of our stay resulted in being charged a $40 increase of our previous standard rates, very weird). Our key cards were demagnetized twice and it was an inconvenience as well. The room was clean overall. The King sized bed was just ok. Blackout drapes on the windows, but no mesh curtains for allowing natural daylight in unfortunately. TV was local basic antennae channels, no cable access. Plenty of towels available in the room. Working mini fridge and microwave. No ironing board or iron. The restroom fan was broken and stayed on all day and all night. No breakfast available. Hot Tea and coffee in the lobby in the morning. Pool and Hot Tub area were clean, however there are no signs anywhere on the property of hours available for use. Some nights the gate was unlocked to the area, some nights the gate was pad locked; oddly inconsistent overall.. A simple place to stay with the very basic minimalist amenities. Clean looking property overall. Plenty of parking. Overpriced rates up front. Try and get a good rate online first, this is my suggestion. Good Luck ✌️
