Santa Ana Travel Inn

In reading the previous reviews my sister and I were skeptical to stay here but we were pleasantly surprised. The bed and room were clean and very modern inside. The woman who helped us check in was nice and personable. We had a lovely stay and will be checking in again when we are in the area.

Parking is an issue here. But this day there was only one other car in the parking. As I parked he comes out aggressively yelling and saying don’t park there . So I moved back to a different spot and he yells again that parking is only for trucks. There’s no signs saying for trucks only. I rolled my window down and asked him if he was okay. And why was he being so aggressive. His response was you don’t like it go so where else. No respect. Avoid this place

I'll start off with location. It was a small parking area, the guy who runs it is not professional. Guests who were there were loud, rude and honked their horns a lot. The room was terrible, had paint chips and holes on the wall, the bed was way to firm, pillows were terrible not comfortable at all, the shower curtain had black mold on it, they had electrical tape on the door frames not sure why, only 1 light worked, there was no password for the wifi, no TV guide, no microwave or anyway to heat food, not even a little fridge, the gentleman just makes up his own rules as he goes. The only thing that did okay was the darn heater other than that it was a horrible experience. Cheap maybe but not worth it at all. Do not recommend this place for anyone.

Overall pleasant stay, husband and I stayed two nights. The motel is next to a busy street and right by the freeway, so if this is something that bothers you, it might be considered loud. They require a deposit, but it's not cash only as some people have said. A real bonus that they allow late check-in. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower, but that isn't a big deal to me as I bring my own things. The only issue was parking, as we got boxed in by someone who "made" their own spot. I've seen some other reviews where people complain, but for the price this is pretty decent.

I absolutely kid you not, if I could give this "motel", for lack of better words, a rating of a negative 10,000 stars. Let me start off by saying this, I've stayed here before, and it was one of those places where you get what you pay for. At least everything was clean/sanitizing however during my first visit. This visit by far was the absolutefinally worst experience of my life. I called and there were plenty of rooms available while on the way way over. I get there, and the parking lot was nearly empty... Suspicious? You tell me. I walk in and ask for a single bed and the cost. He responded saying there is only one room left and it had two beds..... I was in absolute shock when we had just spoken on the phone where he said the opposite. I pointed out the the parking lot's emptiness. He told me that a flood of people came/booked)left to do whatever
