The Hotel Huntington Beach

Location is next ti Garden grove, not close to the beach so you should know. Free parking with hotel signage permit! Check in was easy and quick with friendly staff! Hotel is basic so don’t expect much. I enjoyed how quiet of the window with noise cancellation that i can sleep as a light sleeper! Bed was comfy! I didn’t use shower so can’t speak for the pressure or heat level. Room was clean 90% and u get 2 complimentary water which great! They also have small restaurant downstairs! General great and easy stay with pleasant experiences. Usually i stay hotel cost more than $300-500 but with the price i paid for less than $100, it met the expectations!

I was so disappointed. This hotel advertises heated indoor pool. We purchased 3 swim suits before arrival and was just going to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi on New Years eve. Pool was freezing and the jacuzzi no heat. I asked the lady at desk and said they were working on it. Nobody was working on the pool. Restaurant and Bar closed wanted to enjoy. Was an horrible experience. Also that was the smallest tv I ever seen in an hotel.

Bed was so hard I had to make a trip to buy a mattress pad, then double it over. Had to visit the chiropractor twice in the days since I returned home. Walls are thin, paint is chipped, bar closes way too early. Staff was fine, but could be more upbeat and friendly. Location is fantastic because you can walk to shopping and restaurants.

Ok so this room looks great at first. Then you realize the coffee plug is short, there's no fridge, the shower doesn't really work at getting the water out & the TV is tiny like a lap top. The bed was fairly comfortable & it's a decent size.

The good thing about this hotel is the service. Reception staff is lovely, and it pretty much ends there. The room was not dirty but it didn't feel clean either, there was a weird enclosed smell and most of all the room and common areas are in need on an extreme makeover. The mattress was sunk in and I woke up with a horrible back pain. Paint was chipped everywhere, holes in the carpets, bubbles in the paint. Also the rooms are really not sound proof. Would definitely not go back nor recommend. Also, the parking lot is fairly small and most spots are meant for compact cars: when I came back at night I had to circle a few times before resigning to backing up my X-Terra in a very small spot.
