Courtyard Santa Ana Orange County

Courtyard in Santa Ana Orange County is conveniently located literally 10 mins drive from Santa Ana Airport (John Wayne Airport). It's located in a mixed use district where there are offices as well as residential Apartments nearby. There are a few good eating options at walking distance which include a Starbucks, A local Pizzeria, A Thai and an Indian restaurant and few others.. The property has most basic amenities which a short-trip traveller may need - small swimming pool, gym, a big lounge area and kitchen / food counter. The staff is super helpful and courteous. The only reason I'm giving the 3 stars to rooms and 4 stars to the property is that the room I got was quite small in size, the bathroom much smaller. The bathroom door opened into the main door - which means that you can't keep the bathroom door open and operate the main door... Which was a little weird.

I have stayed here at least several times over the years. The location is higher-end, in fact you have a luxury apartment building next door, and freeway access is also right there, which can make a difference in Southern California. The service also always has been great, and it was this time as well. I have stayed in roughly 100 hotels a year for a while now and you can tell when a hotel is making an effort at customer service.

Well… it’s ok. Definitely older hotel. Location is good if you have meetings in and around Irvine. Certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here.

The top floor is noisy and feels like something is buzzing up there. Other than the noise, clean rooms, nice view, new interiors. You won't regret your stay especially this being very close to the airport.

Solid 4.5⭐️[Updated] The age of the building shows in some aspects, but the management keeps it well maintained and renovated. 👍🛏️ Mattress and pillow choices are to my liking. My room was clean, no complaints. 👌🍽️ Standard bistro cafe is available in the lobby. You can purchase breakfast, coffee or lunch. However, there’s a nice small plaza across the street if you’re looking for more. I personally really liked the ramen place nearby. 👌🛁 I assume due to the age of the building, ventilation of the bathroom is limited (at least in my suite). Plus, due to some safety law, the bathroom door always shuts unless you put something heavy to keep it open. When closed, the bathroom traps heat easier and it can feel a little humid. Not an issue if you keep the door open and let room’s AC cool it off. The bathroom and shower itself is nice, no complaints. ⚖️ In conclusion, this was a solid stay for a few days. The staff and front desk were very polite and nice. The surrounding area is calm, and it’s not too far away from an airport. 📆 Traveled in July of 2024. 📆 Revisited in August of 2024. 👏👨‍💻 My compliments to the staff and their professionalism! The front desk ensured I felt welcomed, and I appreciate the hospitality. 🅿️🚗 Covenient parking available across from the front entrance, but you need to obtain a dashboard pass from the front desk. 👌✈️ This is a calm, reliable stay option for me. Convenient access to the nearby airport as well.
