Extended Stay America - Orange County - Huntington Beach

I’ll be honest, this is perhaps the worst hotel I’ve ever booked in my 12 times traveling to the Huntington Beach area for work. I booked a king room with kitchenette. When I get into the room, there was no cutlery, cups, cooking utensils, or flatware to be found in the room. Half the outlets aren’t working and they don’t even supply you with shampoo or conditioner. You literally have to ask the front desk to stock your room with the essentials you would assume you already paid for upon arrival, as if traveling isn’t stressful enough itself. The only decent thing about this place is the comfortable beds and the convenience of being located close to where I work. Not to mention the transients just “hanging out” constantly in the hotel lobby and outside the building which makes it really uncomfortable to enter/exit. This is not a safe place for a single woman to stay. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $50/night to stay somewhere better. They don’t even serve breakfast in the morning. There are a few pre-packaged snacks and some coffee and that’s about it.

A nice place to stay for an extended stay, and after a 30 day stay in Orange County, CA, my room rate was tax exempt, saving me money. I stayed there during a recent move, from one home to another. The staff is excellent, and very helpful!! Rooms are cleaned weekly. it was quiet and I slept well in the bed. the kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave is very nice and saves you money instead of eating out. There were a few minor issues, but the staff promptly addressed them after I told them. there is also a laundry room so you can do laundry. And they told me they can also accept deliveries from Amazon, Fedex and UPS. That's very helpful! I recommend this Extended Stay!

Overall, Extended Stay America combines comfort, convenience, and outstanding service, making it the ideal choice for both short and long-term stays. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here goes out of their way to help their clients. My daughter and I are here in between apartments and we don’t even want to leave. I’ve never had this kind of treatment at any motel, hotel, bed and breakfast, etc. It’s the best. Thanks to the whole staff and thank you Ray!!! You’re amazing. All of you guys are I don’t want to try and name everyone because I may accident leave someone out and I don’t want to do that because they are all great. Ray manages an extraordinary staff. Perfection is putting it lightly. All the way from the front desk to the maids and maintenance. Everyone. Thanks so much . You guys have made this a great experience. I’m gonna miss you all when we go !!!!

This was a great place for my daughters and I to stay for a long weekend. The hotel certainly has a large corporate travel customer base which makes for a quiet stay. We didn't hear a lot of kids crying or running around.
