Holiday Inn Express Newport Beach, an IHG Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The property was spotless and incredibly quiet, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. De Shawn, in particular, was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. It was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Clean, spacious, well-appointed rooms. Helpful and welcoming staff. Very quiet — did not hear any other people, and I’m a light sleeper, so this is a biggie for me. Comfy beds. Really nice breakfast offered. Lovely pool and hot tub. A very enjoyable stay at a reasonable price point. Only about a 25-30 minute walk (or very short drive) to the pier and lots of restaurant options down at that area. Would definitely stay here again.

Was wonderful! Came for a work trip and they even had a sign saying welcome. Check in staff Steve was really kind and gave me the information I needed! They have a pool and hot tub plus the breakfast was great (I was very surprised since there is a range of quality and you never know how it’ll be). Had a workspace and waiting for Ubers/etc was easy and comfortable. Even if I don’t have a work trip I’ll likely stay here next time!

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The young man at the front desk was very friendly and cheerful, which made for a good first impression. Rooms were quiet; we didn’t hear any of our neighbors. It is located on the Pacific Coast Highway, which can be noisy and gridlocked during rush hour. The breakfast selection was huge and had a large variety of items to choose from. Rooms were clean. All in all, a very nice stay. Highly recommended.

Made a reservation then after check out there was a menu choice for extra fees. They want $22 extra to park. Canceled it immediately. Glad I use VAN's so I could cancel the credit card before they charged me. More than 10% hidden fee to park at the hotel, this is not downtown anywhere. I would expect a parking charge possibly in a big city. Not in Newport Beach on a highway.
