Motel 6 Garden Grove, CA
REVIEWS
As of 09/09/2024, the hotel seems to be going through some renovations. The room itself appears a bit outdated, but that could also be why they are renovating. The room was clean and very neat. The beds were VERY comfortable and the AC was strong and got very cold (which is a plus). Lots of nearby food restaurants that are open late (past 1:00AM) which is also a plus.

It was a very bad stay. The room had a bad smell and the bed was made of iron and made annoying sounds whenever you moved on it. The location of the motel was also not good.

Upon entering the room I was overwhelmed with the smell of mildew. Could not handle the smell and requested another room. Closed the bathroom door and could not get out. Had to call maintenance to open the door. We sat as the maintenance staff drilled and sanded the bathroom door. After all that the door still did not lock. The grand finale is when they left the mess they made for us to clean up. Lol…wasn’t sure what to expect next! Yikes!

The second day of my stay, there was a terrible smell of sewage in the room. Add the visit of a couple of cockroaches.... I hope that I just was unlucky....
