Ocean Surf Inn and Suites

We absolutely loved this place! First the wonderful manager let us check in early with a smile and no fees attached(unheard of right)! Next the elevator was out and I had luggage and my Husband was recently in the hospital but they literally carried heavy luggage up to our room for us and were so kind and sweet and funny! The rooms were totally beach rooms which I loved! The beds were so comfortable and we slept amazing! It is steps from the beach and we loved watching the amazing wind surfers with the beautiful sails. We left the slider open and heard the ocean and felt completely safe! The entire staff was so nice! It is a small boutique hotel that you will just love love love! Worth every penny! We walked to the Calico for dinner right down the way, which was great!

We had a great week long stay! Both of the front desk guys we talked to were kind and very helpful. The rooms are nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. The AC unit worked so well we had to turn it to warm at times, which was such a relief as we prefer to sleep cold. Everything was extremely clean and the cleaning staff was very friendly! The covered parking is small and tight, but there's plenty of parking outside of it. We never had any issues finding space close by. We also loved the collection of beach stuff that was available to use and added to it on our way out! The shower in the parking garage was a God-send for washing off after the beach and helped keep our stuff clean. We have been visiting Huntington annually for a handful of years now and are happy to have finally found somewhere we can return to year after year. We will for sure be back!

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Shaun the Manager was great and made sure we was comfortable in our room. Very very short walk to beach. Great restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again

I would give 5 stars except..... the TP roll was backwards. What a warm welcome on a chilly california night. Very clean room and bathroom. I am impressed. This is a charming hotel in a great location for a great price. Staff is very friendly and dependable when called upon. I also feel that my vehicle is secure in their garage. This has been my favorite stop on this journey 🏅👌

Price-quality I found it quite expensive; most of the hotel is in need of an upgrade. The location (incl. Rooftop with ocean views) cannot be beat. Breakfast is basic, but at least there is some breakfast. Good for an overnight stop on the way somewhere else.
