This place was quiet, quaint, and cute. The rooms were clean. The bathtub was a nice, usable, enjoyable size and also clean. There are no elevators, only stairs. Parking is a little tight when it's full. But it's a beautiful location. It seems safe. No homeless people or criminal activity going on within eyeshot. Restaurants very nearby. The beach is within walking distance in 10 minutes time. I enjoyed my time here.

Petty theft from staff. I stayed here over Christmas for two days while visiting family. I was allowed an early check in at 11am. I arrived to my room with my luggage and left immediately to get lunch. There was a housekeeper in the hallway and I said hello to her. When I came back an hour later $100 in cash was taken from my bag. I let the management know, and she did absolutely nothing. She did not offer to review the CCTV camera in the hall. She told me the cleaning lady had already left, which was a lie, as I had done an early check in. Although it is in a great location, this property didn't feel safe to me. The person that robbed me still works there. Should you decide to stay here, I suggest locking your luggage when you're gone as staff will go through your belongings.

We came to Huntington Beach for a funeral due to the tragic and sudden death of close relatives. We found last minute accommodations with Surf City Inn. The staff were very friendly and kind. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. A day into our stay we got to stay with family. We were grateful that Surf City Inn allowed us to break our weekly rental. Not only did they have great accommodations but also a generous heart as an establishment. May their business increase for their generosity.

Stayed here to attend Dreamstate at Queen Mary. Room was great, cost to rideshare to free shuttle at LB convention center was under $30 each way. Would definitely recommend

Cute rooms, excellent location, great price, friendly staff. Excellent parking. Suggestions for rooms: add bedside lamps, improve bathroom vent, remove rain shower and replace with standard shower head, increase water flow pressure, improve water heater. (Slow to warm up, plus wild temperature fluctuations during shower).
