This establishment was absolutely amazing. I was very grateful to have run across it and had the opportunity to book a quick weekend. My daughter and I do very little traveling together and this was just an amazing opportunity for both of us from the minute. I booked the minute. I checked out and everything in between was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this place for a very comfortable stay

If you're dreaming of a getaway where the ocean whispers you to sleep and greets you with breathtaking views the moment you wake, the Surf and Sand Resort is your dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we knew this was no ordinary stay. Our oceanfront room was a slice of paradise—beautifully designed with everything you could possibly need, plus the unbeatable soundtrack of waves crashing right outside our window. Honestly, who needs a meditation app when you have this? The staff? Absolute stars. Friendly, accommodating, and always ready to make your stay even more magical. It's like they knew exactly what we needed before we did! And while this review focuses on the resort, I can’t skip a quick shoutout to Splashes, their restaurant (stay tuned for a full review on that culinary gem!). Let’s just say our taste buds are still doing a happy dance. Whether it’s for a romantic escape, a well-deserved treat-yourself moment, or just an excuse to soak in some coastal magic, Surf and Sand Resort is the place to be. We had a great one-night getaway at Surf & Sand. The room was amazing, with gorgeous views of the ocean and the service was outstanding. They are still working out some kinks due to the renovation but the service made up for any small inconveniences. I highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at this incredible hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—valet, front desk, and room service all went above and beyond to make our stay special. Oh, and the food is excellent!! Our room had a stunning ocean view, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing right outside our balcony. The hotel was immaculate and beautifully designed, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere. Later, we had our kids brought to us, and the staff welcomed them with sand toys and sodas for the beach. It made their day and ours! The attention to detail and family-friendly touch made this place even more special. We can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone seeking a luxurious and family-friendly getaway!”

Surf and sand is one of my all-time favorite places to stay in Laguna Beach. The waves just crash right at the base of your room every night you sleep with the door open and it loves you to sleep like a lullaby. The renovations they’ve completed are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are gorgeous. The beach is clean and quiet. The restaurant splashes is fantastic. I absolutely recommend the surf and sand.
