Newport Bay Inn

Insanely bad. Maybe the worst hotel I’ve ever been in in the US. Paper thin walls. I heard a guy cough and I thought he was in my room. Comforter was ripped. TV doesn’t work. I had to laugh. I paid for the night and didnt even stay. I left. I don’t mind simplicity, but I could hear breathing in the next room. I don’t understand how this place is open.

Always a quick and easy check in process here. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. Great location also!

The walls are paper thin. I can hear the tweakers next door. I know some of their names. Even if it was 50% less I would not stay here. I instantly regretted not reading the reviews first. I booked two nights and I hope I can get a refund..If I can't I am still not going to spend one more night of my life at this crack shack.

Noise! NO noise isolation at all!! i could hear people even when they walked. the facility is right by 55 hwy and all the car noises seemed like they were in the parking lot of the motel since there was no noise reduction at all. On top of that, when the AC turns on, no matter what stage of sleep you jump up in your bed! the loudest AC. Smell! horrible smell. The room had an ashtray inside, so i assume people smoked there, and it smelled bad. But i guess that smell was permanently stuck to the insides of the AC, when you turn the AC on it smells so bad, you almost want to turn the AC off. Burnt furniture, taped up window blinds (blue tape). pillows thin and hard as a rock.
