Atrium Hotel

The hotel is decent enough and matches the price so it feels like a fair shake. However the parking is quite expensive all things considered. $28/night. They should be upfront about that on their website. It's unimpressive when you feel the surprise of a high parking rate that was unexpected.... As a follow up, I did check the website and it doesn't list the parking rates what it says is... "Parking is available at this property. It may be free or subject to additional fees." The answer is $28/night.

So I booked a double queen bed room for three nights and right off the bat I should say even the staff were nice and friendly the rooms were not. The sheets and covers did not look clean. The bathroom sink did not drain and I had to check out the next day. My regret was not booking this directly from the website but through Expedia and because it was pre-paid I would not be refunded. I should also say I was surprised at how minimalist the rooms were. I could not find a mini-fridge, microwave or anything that I could keep my food warm. If you're booking here pay attention to what the rooms offer. The rooms here don't offer much.

We've been given now twice, two different visits the worst rooms possible. Booked them through hotels.com maybe that's a problem, I'm also in the travel industry and these rooms are completely unacceptable, old dingy and falling apart. Highly recommend do not stay here it is literally as good as a Motel 6 might as well go to a Motel 6, I think it will be cleaner it will probably be more up to date than this hotel is, looks pretty on the outside, has a great pool area and that's where it ends! As for the employees, the front desk doesn't really give a damn about their customers.

So booked 2 rooms on expedia.com over a month in advance, called hotel after booking asking to have conjoined rooms. They said no problem and they'd have it done. Well we get here and essentially we can't get conjoined rooms. Not a huge deal but am annoyance. Rooms seem clean. I would describe the place as "let's update the hotel as cheaply as possible". Broken shelves, worn carpet and furniture, bathroom doesn't lock and someone was nice enough to leave a condom as a bookmark in the Bible (unopened). Would i stay again? No. Was the staff polite? Yes. Have i had worse experiences? Definitely.

This hotel is fairly basic in decor, but for the price is quite good. The staff is nice and helpful and my room was clean and quiet. IMPORTANT: note there is NO shuttle and although it’s directly across from the airport it’s quite a hike if you walk as there’s no direct path. If you have more than carry on baggage it will cost you $15 for an uber. There’s also no on-site restaurant or even coffee although many within a 5 min drive. There’s a gas station with a convenience store next door for sodas, snacks, coffee etc.
