Ayres Hotel Fountain Valley - Huntington Beach

Location was nice! Close to freeway and food. Hotel entrance is nice. Room is a bit outdated small TV, Thermostat, shower needs work water goes cold and hot out of nowhere, pillow is garbage lol. Rooms is a little bit spacious so it’s good. The free breakfast is very sad you cant even bring food to your room also they ran out of banana and other fruits lol but overall it was a nice stay and i would visit again

I stayed in June and happily returned again in October to stay again. The hotel is super clean, staff is friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable enough for me to return again. Delaney at the front desk was super helpful. I saw her each day of our stay and her added effort with an issue we had was quick and helpful. I wish more hotels were kept up to this level of excellence.

👋 Was recommneded to stay here by a family member, and it was a great choice! I wanted to write a review 👍. Every part of the hotel is very clean! Large, spacious bathtub with support handle; nice water pressure; not bad toilet height and size; fitness room has sufficient equipment (only wish it was open 24 hours); has computer/printing service; great breakfast (free); relaxing and spacious lobby; lobby restrooms are nice; hotel smell and air conditioning are decent (although, when accidentally turning on heater, there was smoky smell); did not use the daily room cleaning service, but certain it must be awesome; multiple entry doors to hotel; I liked the conservation of energy from their light activation-slots; police station is adjacent to hotel. Refrigerator felt a bit cramped and perhaps could be colder; bar soap could be replaced with soap dispenser; curtains cannot be pushed aside fully; clock could be brighter; there ought to be recycling bins present; ought to have option to use non-plastic tableware; perhaps a middle stairway could be helpful.

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel deserves one. First time staying at an Ayres Hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very large and clean. The lobby area was decorated on a scale of a 4- or 5- star hotel. The front desk and housekeeping staff I spoke with were very pleasant and accommodating. The free breakfast was the usual "free breakfast" fare, although the eggs appeared to be real and not powder or liquid. Although I did not use the outdoor areas around the pool, there were great seating and lounging areas both inside and outside the pool gate. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone who comes to town. And in the future when I am traveling, I will be looking for an Ayres Hotel in the area first. Hopefully, the quality of accommodations is the same throughout the chain. One caveat for people who do not like traffic noise (I happen to love traffic noise), ask to stay on the non-freeway side of the building.

Excellent hotel! I’ve stayed here multiple times now in the past few years and have not been disappointed yet! The rooms are clean, spacious, well lit, and comfortable! I would like to see in the future more USB-C ports, and a restaurant downstairs opened every day for service at dinner times!
