Sonesta Select Huntington Beach Fountain Valley

Updated my review to five stars. The Sonesta team really did treat me wonderfully from the moment I first set foot in until I checked out. They completely accomodated my family's needs while my daughter was in the hospital. I would highly recommend being here for any stay: you will be treated wonderfully. Original review: Needed to make a booking to be near the hospital just down the street. The front desk was extremely accommodating and found me the perfect room so I could be closer to my child while they were at the hospital.

Bad business practice. I booked it online however, upon checking on the review and the current eaton fire, which is affecting the area we are going to stay (we are victim from this fire subject to be evacuated) since booked the hotel less than few minutes, I tried to cancel the stay yet the hotel front desk wouldn't want to talk anything yet constant rude attitude towards my partner over the phone. Expedia attempted to contact them to see if they could get me a full refund on this they just simply did not want to answer those calls. I am reporting this to the better business bureau.

Shady business, booked a room, payed for it already on website, when we got there got slap with a 250 dollar deposit fee for 1 night booking of 133 dollar, okay np, then they refuse to accept cash as a deposit, ask to cancel the room since they force us to shit out a debit card, front desk lady is like you need to contact the website, in this case is Expedia, called: chinese lady voice pop up and said nothing. In the end, got rip off, no room no refund. Will never visit again, good luck with your shady business.

Great location off the 405fwy in Fountain Valley. Overall, it was a great experience. They have many amenities, including a gym and swimming pool. The rooms are super spacious. Just be ready to fork over a $250 deposit.

Well , my apartment is on renovation and I was looking for to book in a nice local hotel couple of days. I thought this place has perfect location between Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley ... to my surprise I've read the reviews specifically 1 & 2 stars what an awful place: customer service, rooms it's so shameful that in our beloved Orange county ( specially close to the beach ) they offer such a bad service I think The City Hall should pay attention to this kind of things if they want their permits to be renovated.
