Motel 6 Fountain Valley, CA - Huntington Beach Area

Rooms are okay. Location is okay. BUT don't risk your dollars at this Motel 6. Customer service is despicable. Front desk is unfriendly and unhelpful and lacking training on how to provide basic customer service. Read the other reviews, and you will see this is the norm. Management is practically impossible to reach. They do not always honor bookings done by reputable partners. They do not fully list their policies on partner websites such as booking.com and hotels.com, which is dishonest. I find it even more insulting as a customer that the owner has a team responding to low-rating reviews with stock answers that obviously do to represent real effort to change...because the same themes keep occurring in review after review.. There are two other nearby Motel 6 locations with much, much superior customer service, transparent policies, as well as better walking access to nearby restaurants. Or pay $20-$30 more and book a reputable hotel in the area.

No one was around at 715am for checkout. Terrible towels and water pressure. They were nice enough to leave a set of ear plugs in the room. Seems like 3/4 of the rooms are two lanes from the fast lane on the freeway. Don't stay here if you're a light sleeper or want more than 6hours of sleep.

This is by far the noisiest motel I have ever stayed in. The bedroom window is directly adjacent to a freeway with 17 lanes. The noise level from the traffic was unbearable (70dB). Only got three hours of intermittent sleep. The motel provided a single set of earplugs, which could have helped a little bit if I had found them before the morning. - The motel should invest in triple-pane windows and heavy curtains for noise mitigation, or change the layout of the rooms (move the TV room to the freeway side and the bedroom to the quieter back side).

This motel 6 is nice, I would just say it's very strict and doesn't allow ANY visitors even family who does not stay the night. They will keep deposits if their is towels on the floor (which by the way i always keep our used towels on the floor) or if they have to clean the room (specifically if they have to do their job). They like to gossip and stare. very unprofessional

It looks way better in the pictures. It's kind of an old place. The back of the room run along side of the freeway and all you hear all night is the traffic. Good luck getting some rest. It was the cheapest room I found in the area. Now I know why.
