Best Western Plus Orange County Airport North

Room was small but very clean. We were very happy that housekeeping made beds and provided fresh towels daily, unlike the recent trend for hotels to only do these things every few days. Breakfast was really good, tire serving actual.scrambled eggs, as opposed to the weird instant eggs mix that most hotels serve. They do limit servings by making your dish for you, and asking you to choose between hash browns and waffles or pancakes, but the portion was generous so we were fine with it. There was still unlimited access to cereal, fruit, bagels and muffins etc. Location was about 15-20 min from Disneyland. Hotel itself was very pretty, nice pool, clean, well lit walkways etc.... Staff was friendly Would definitley stay again.

Everything was great no complaints at all. Depending on your preference some people might say “Boo hoo, the staff at check in rushed when checking me in” but those are the same people who’d complain about a long check in process. I’m all for a fast check in, so if that means no small talk and I’m checked in in about 2-3 min, then I’m all for that. Someone ahead of me was checking in and was almost complete, and still another staff member arrived from the back to check me in very quickly also. Breakfast was decent and accurate to other reviews about hot breakfast items not being self-serve and the use of a breakfast voucher. As a hungry guy I had no complaint about the portion size. I would stay again

Sadly...Never Again. My family and I have been staying here for our summer vacations for the past 10 years. This year on June 20th 2024 around 6pm at check in, this all changed. The two front desk people were so rude, and I was genuinely surprised. When I asked for the room I had requested well in advance, they told me no. When I questioned why, they cussed at me and told me to just go to my room. I tried to be calm as I felt the situation could devolve further. This was a shock because everyone has always been super friendly. While the manager did contact me the next day and was very cool and even changed my room, I was just still reeling from the negative vibes from the front desk people. This experience coupled with the drug addicts that can now sometimes be found roaming the halls and parking lot, it's just too much. I don't feel safe. So sad because it used to be a beautiful place.

For our anniversary, my wife and I decided to stay at Best Western Plus because they had a good rating, really good prices on the rooms, and unlike other hotels, they don't charge for parking. It was also close by the restaurant we had dinner reservations for. Seems like a no-brainer, right? WRONG!.... My wife checks in early to get settled in (while I'm still at work), and the first thing she notices is all the cigarette burns in the sofa. NICE! then she notices all the ants on the bed. EXCELLENT! She called the front office, and the hotel staff were kind enough to move us to another room. So, it's all good. We're cool with that. When I arrived at the new room, I thought it was decent. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. I was content. In the morning, I ate the complementary breakfast from the hotel, and it was good. Later, as we were getting ready, the hot water in the sink and shower decided to go out. This really upset my wife, and she had to speak with the front office once again. I just took a cold shower. And the hot water stayed off or had little to no pressure at all for about 4 or 5 hours. Now let me give you the icing on the cake. If you stay at Best Western Plus, stay away from the 7-11 on Dyer and Putnam. My wife and I went there to get some snacks, and we could not believe what we were seeing. There was a society of drug addicts who seemed to reside on the premises. They were on the side and back of the store openly using drugs and stumbling across the parking lot. Next time, I'll just spend a little bit more money and stay somewhere better.

No breakfast for you without that voucher, even if you are a 6 year old kid ! That's the bad attitude of the management and staff here. It seems even Best Western corporate has no control over this hotel's policies. This place must be a rebranded Motel 6, let alone Best Western "Plus".
