Pendry Newport Beach

Our family of 12 spent the weekend at Pendry Newport Beach for a birthday celebration and everything was perfect. The hotel has been beautifully remodeled and is very well maintained. The staff was great - from the front desk to the spa to the restaurant. The food and service (Alton especially) at dinner was outstanding. The weekend was a wonderful treat all the way around and I look forward to next time!

Wonderful 5 star hotel, with amazing view of Newport and amenities - must-use gym, open air hot tub and underground spa with sauna complimentary for the guests. We had luck and got to see a show at the bar Saturday night with brilliant musicians! Don’t miss the Pastries.

Here's a Google Maps review you can share: Excellent Service and Recovery I recently had a wonderful stay at the Pendry Newport Beach. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left a very sentimental necklace in my room. I was incredibly relieved and grateful when I contacted the hotel and was connected to Samuel in security. He promptly assured me he would retrieve the necklace, and true to his word, it was waiting for me at the front desk after my meeting. The Pendry's commitment to exceptional service is truly commendable. I highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful accommodations and outstanding staff.

This is a hotel that has been in the Newport area with many other operators in the past. Now Pendry is giving it a go at operating this hotel and our initial experience is good. The entry and check in experience was good as the staff seemed very professional, competent, and courteous. The experience to our room was nice as well with contemporary decor and upkeep. Our room was very nice with good design and fixtures. And of course our views from the room of Newport were awesome. The gym was unique in that there is an indoor and outdoor section with different machines. Overall we had a nice experience staying here.

Had our company Christmas party there, rented a room and did full dinner and drinks, that part was very good! However, when we all went out to the main bar that's where service went downhill, bartenders were very unorganized mainly just wanted to serve females totally ignoring other customers! I did ask for the manager who actually did nothing! Time for a real staff at the bar who knows what they are doing!!! Plus, I liked the old bar looked a lot better this is now just a boring bar with a bad and rude staff!!!
