Welcome to

all things cottage

While most people may be familiar with the more famous homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, few realize that one of his last residential designs was commissioned for a tiny 880-square foot cottage built along a beautiful lake deep in the Wisconsin woods.  And the other significant fact about the Seth Peterson Cottage is that it is available to the public as a nightly vacation rental.

For cottage enthusiasts who enjoy cottage interiors and home décor, our cottage style section features a beautifully decorated cottage on the Oregon coast that is packed with great design ideas. Also, this month’s showcase plan features the latest new cottage plan from Ross Chapin, noted for his innovative small cottage designs and pocket neighborhood concept.
